Verse of the Week:
"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain."
--Proverbs 127:1(a)
Quote of the Week:
"The best way to predict the future is to invent it"
--Alan Kay
Joke of the Week:
An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman are sitting in a bar. Suddenly, a fly dives into each of their beers.
The Irishman says, "Barman, a fly just dove into my beer. Bring me another one." The Irishman got another beer.
The Englishman says, "Ah, whatever," and empties his pint, fly and all.
The Scotsman pulls the fly out of his beer, shakes it up and down, and screams, "Spit it out, blast you! Spit it out!"
Introduction
This is my wish list as of August 10, 2009. I do not expect to get everything
on it, nor do I intend to make anyone feel guilty for not getting me
everything, or anything, on it. (I guess that's rather obvious now that
this list has surpassed one hundred items...) It is simply a list of
things I would like to have.
The items on this list have generally been prioritized. I would rather have the items closer to the top
of each subsection, as opposed to the ones on the bottom. However, I
would rather have the ones on the bottom as opposed to none at all.
I have been asked why I have such a large wish list in a "Aren't you being greedy?" sort of
way. My answer to this is that if I put a huge selection down, then someone has a good chance of running
across something I'd like. Plus, this way, I have a very wide price range; everything from a simple
quarter to several hundred thousand dollars worth of real estate.
You can find the most recent version of this Wish List online at

They have horrible costomer service.)
